Error 741

1.  Usually this means that the server is asking for secure password authentication.  Usually ISPs do not require this, probably about 99% of them.  Make sure that the correct number is being dialed.  Could be an ISP issue?  

2.  In 95/98: Check dialer and make sure that "require encrypted password/use secure auth" is not checked.  In NT: check dialer and make sure that "Accept any auth including clear text" is checked.
